Executive Chef - Kenyan Cuisine (Herzliya)
Our restaurant in Herzliya is seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Kenyan cuisine. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus that showcase the rich flavors and diverse dishes of Kenya. Your creativity and expertise will be essential in designing new and innovative dishes that will delight our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create menus that reflect authentic Kenyan cuisine while also incorporating modern techniques
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Passion for Kenyan cuisine and knowledge of traditional cooking methods and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Creative mindset with the ability to constantly innovate menu offerings
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, without accommodation
