Welding Technician
As a Welding Technician, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks to support the production process. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. You will also be required to maintain equipment, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
- Perform various types of welding including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Maintain welding equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Welder or Welding Technician
- Knowledge of different welding techniques and materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills
- Physical stamina to work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
Location: Malindi, Kenya (preference for Egyptian nationals)
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
