Construction Project Manager
As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. Your main duties will include planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets and schedules, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with clients and communicate project progress updates regularly.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of construction processes and techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You should also have a keen eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve quickly. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all stages of construction projects
- Develop project budgets and schedules
- Monitor progress of projects and ensure they are completed within budget and on schedule
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times
- Communicate project progress updates regularly to clients
- Identify potential issues or problems on site and take prompt action to resolve them
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, invoices, etc.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide guidance and support to project team members as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills
