Typesetter - English Speaking (Contract)
Location: St-Petersburg, Russia


We are in search of a talented Typesetter to join our team in St-Petersburg. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting text and images for various publications, ensuring high quality and accuracy. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1400$. Malayalees and Filipinos are preferred, but all English speaking candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize specialized software to format text and images for books, magazines, newspapers, and other publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure accurate representation of content
- Review proofs for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Make necessary adjustments or edits as needed
- Adhere to project deadlines and maintain efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
