Bilingual Interpreter (Indian Nationals Only)


We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Washington D.C. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services between English and your native Indian language. This position requires fluency in both languages and a strong understanding of cultural nuances.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in a variety of settings such as meetings, conferences, and appointments
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all interpretations
- Serve as a cultural liaison between English speakers and your native Indian community
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry terminology and relevant subject matter
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery

Requirements:
- Native proficiency in an Indian language (Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, etc.)
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal communication skills
- Previous experience as an interpreter preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and maintain confidentiality

Salary: $1200/month
Location: Washington D.C., United States
