Network and Systems Administrator

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Utena, Lithuania. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in managing and maintaining computer networks and systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain computer networks and systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security checks
- Identify potential areas for improvement in network infrastructure
- Implement new technology solutions to enhance network functionality
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of all systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP) and hardware (routers, switches)
- Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Familiarity with cloud computing services (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals

Salary: 1700 USD/month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position that requires the candidate to work 40 hours per week. Accommodation will not be provided by the company. Candidates must have a valid biometric passport.
