Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine (Nakuru, Kenya)


We are seeking a highly experienced and talented Restaurant Manager with a background in Indian cuisine to lead our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and supervise all restaurant staff to ensure high-quality service and efficient operations
- Create and maintain employee schedules to effectively manage labor costs
- Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Oversee menu development and pricing to ensure profitability while meeting customer demands
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Develop strategies to increase sales and attract new customers through marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
- Manage restaurant budget and financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and implementing cost-saving measures

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine restaurant or similar establishment
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including ingredients, cooking techniques, and cultural traditions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving goals
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred)
- Proven track record of managing budgets, controlling costs, and increasing revenue
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
