Restaurant Manager - Nakuru, Kenya
Our busy restaurant in Nakuru is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff management, financial management, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and train all restaurant staff
- Ensure efficient and friendly customer service
- Monitor food quality and presentation, adhering to company standards
- Handle all financial aspects of the restaurant including budgeting, inventory control, and cost analysis
- Implement marketing strategies to increase revenue and attract new customers
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for both employees and customers
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one)
