Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organization and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries and redirecting them as necessary
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for staff members
- Assist with preparing documents, presentations, and reports
- Organize and maintain filing systems
- Process expense reports and invoices
- Assist with recruiting efforts by posting job listings and scheduling interviews
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
- Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
