Hotel Sales Manager - Bungoma, Kenya

The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue for our hotel in Bungoma, Kenya. This position requires a highly motivated, results-driven individual with strong leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in the African market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building relationships with clients and partners, and managing a team of sales representatives. A competitive salary of 1400$ per month will be offered for this full-time position.

The Hotel Sales Manager's responsibilities include:

- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue and meet targets
- Identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients and partners
- Managing a team of sales representatives to ensure they are meeting their targets
- Conducting market research to identify trends and competition within the industry
- Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, operations, and finance to ensure a cohesive approach towards achieving business objectives
- Preparing reports on sales performance, market trends, and forecasts
- Participating in industry events to network and promote the hotel
- Maintaining a high level of customer service by promptly addressing any issues or concerns raised by clients

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel sales, preferably in the African market
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage)
- Knowledge of hotel operations is an added advantage
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
