Slinger - Construction Worker



Position: Slinger - Construction Worker

Location: Osijek, Croatia (Filipino applicants preferred)

Salary: 1500$ per month (part-time)

Are you a skilled and experienced construction worker looking for part-time work in Osijek? Our construction company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Slinger to join our team.

As a Slinger, you will be responsible for providing support to the crane operator by ensuring that materials are safely and accurately lifted and moved around the construction site. You will work closely with other workers to ensure that materials are delivered to the correct location and that safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements:
- Filipino nationality preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Slinger or similar role in the construction industry
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Croatian language skills are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations in a construction site
- Valid work visa for Croatia (company can provide assistance for obtaining one)

Responsibilities:
- Communicate with crane operator using hand signals or radio communication
- Inspect materials before lifting to ensure they are safe and secure
- Attach loads to the crane using appropriate rigging techniques
- Monitor movement of loads and adjust as necessary to avoid accidents or damage
- Guide crane operator, signaling when materials need to be lowered or moved
- Assist with general labor duties as needed on the construction site
