Heavy Equipment Operator


We are hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Utena, Canada. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and haul trucks. Your main goal will be to safely and efficiently move materials and complete tasks on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and haul trucks
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Complete tasks assigned by supervisor such as moving materials, digging trenches, and leveling surfaces
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Keep track of inventory levels for materials used during projects
- Troubleshoot any equipment issues that may arise during operation

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans
- Knowledge of safety protocols for operating heavy equipment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
- Valid driver's license
- Must have own transportation

Salary:
$1600 per month
