Collector (Filipino Nationals)



We are a reputable financial institution based in Mombasa, Kenya and we are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Collector to join our team. As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting debtors and collecting outstanding payments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Contact debtors via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with debtors
- Update customer records and maintain accurate documentation of all communication with debtors
- Monitor payment deadlines and take necessary actions to ensure timely collection of payments
- Prepare reports on collection activities and present them to management as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to outstanding payments

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a collector or in a similar role
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Filipino language is preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with financial laws and regulations is a plus
