We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to join our team here in Lom, Norway. Our company is looking for a talented individual who is passionate about food and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all aspects of food preparation and presentation in our restaurant
- Creating new and innovative menu items that cater to our diverse clientele
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies to ensure quality and freshness of ingredients
- Training and supervising kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment
- Extensive knowledge of different cuisines, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English (Malayalee or Norwegian speaking would be an advantage)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
