Fitter - Maintenance Technician
Location: Vianden, Luxembourg



The Fitter-Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment and systems in our manufacturing facility in Vianden. This individual will work closely with the production team to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a fitter or maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, and other machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with equipment to minimize downtime
- Install new equipment and perform modifications to existing systems as needed
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any potential problems to management
- Collaborate with production team to schedule downtime for repairs and maintenance work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a fitter or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of machinery
- Experience working with pumps, motors, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
