Executive Chef - Bansko, Bulgaria

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in the beautiful ski town of Bansko, Bulgaria. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our kitchen operations. This includes creating and updating menus, supervising kitchen staff, ordering and maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus to meet current food trends and customer preferences
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Plan and organize kitchen operations to ensure timely preparation of meals
- Source high-quality ingredients from local vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while meeting quality standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Develop relationships with customers to understand their preferences and adjust menu accordingly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create innovative menus while meeting dietary restrictions or special requests
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary: 1500$ monthly (negotiable based on experience)

Contract job - 6 months (with possibility for extension)

No English required - proficiency in Bulgarian preferred but not required
