Crane Operator



As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites in Malindi. You will be part of a team that ensures the safe and efficient operation of cranes, following all safety protocols and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes
- Read and interpret load charts to determine safe lifting capacities
- Inspect cranes before each use to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radios to safely lift and move materials
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating cranes
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including daily logs and maintenance reports

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a crane operator in a construction setting
- Valid crane operator license/certification
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to crane operations
- Physically fit with good coordination skills for operating controls simultaneously
- Good communication skills to collaborate with ground crew
- Ability to work in high-stress situations while maintaining focus on safety

Salary: $1800 per month

This is a full-time position with flexible hours. Housing is not provided but assistance can be provided in finding suitable accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for foreign applicants.
