Office Assistant (Al-Malikiyah, Syria)
We are in need of a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As an Office Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office staff and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Organize and schedule appointments and meetings
- Maintain records and files both electronically and physically
- Assist with preparing and editing documents, reports, and presentations
- Handle office tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and keeping the office neat and tidy
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, tracking expenses, and processing payments
- Liaise with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Carry out any other administrative tasks as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Office Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles is preferred
- Fluency in Arabic is required; knowledge of English is a plus
Salary:
This position offers a salary of $1200 per month with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship will also be provided for non-Syrian candidates.
