Merchandising Assistant

We are a well-established retail company located in Plovdiv, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will work closely with our merchandising team to assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of product displays and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the merchandising team to plan and execute product displays in accordance with company guidelines
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all products are appropriately stocked
- Assist with creating purchase orders and tracking shipments
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper placement of products and adherence to visual standards
- Communicate with vendors regarding product availability and shipment updates
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product placement and promotions
- Assist with pricing strategies and markdowns based on inventory levels
- Maintain accurate records of product information, pricing, and inventory levels

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or similar role is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to visual standards for product displays
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; experience with inventory management software is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
