Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine
We are in search of an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our Indian cuisine restaurant in Nairobi. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing and motivating a team of staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations including food preparation, service, and inventory management.
- Train and manage a team of servers, kitchen staff, and bartenders.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to maintain quality standards and efficiency.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency.
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the chef to create new menu items and specials.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian cuisine establishment.
- Proven track record in managing staff, budgeting, and achieving revenue goals.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English. Knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of local food safety regulations.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. No English language proficiency is required for this role. This position does not include accommodation but visa sponsorship can be provided for eligible candidates.
