Indian Restaurant Manager in Nairobi


We are hiring an experienced Indian Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and culture, as well as experience managing a restaurant. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring quality standards are met
- Train and mentor staff members to provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of efficiency
- Create and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies
- Develop new menu items and specials based on customer preferences and market trends
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation strategies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and culture
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality or service standards
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Good understanding of financial management principles

Salary:
1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Nairobi, Kenya

Note:
This job is open only to Indian nationals currently residing in Nairobi with their own valid visa. No English language skills required. 12th pass candidates are also eligible to apply. Previous experience is preferred but not required as we provide comprehensive training.
