Executive Chef - Egyptian Cuisine


We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our Egyptian cuisine kitchen team in Vilnius. As the head chef, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality menu that showcases authentic Egyptian dishes while also meeting the dietary needs and preferences of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Develop new menu items and modify existing recipes to ensure an authentic and unique Egyptian dining experience
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards at all times
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring proper techniques are used for food preparation and handling
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment following health and safety standards
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, pricing, and cost control initiatives
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques to continually improve menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel specializing in Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Egyptian culinary traditions, ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards high performance
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position. In addition to base pay, employees also receive tips from customers.

Benefits:
In addition to competitive compensation, we offer temporary housing for employees relocating from outside Vilnius. We also provide visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens who meet the necessary requirements.
