Smelter Operator


A smelter operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment used to extract metal from ore, such as copper, lead, or zinc. They work in a smelting plant and follow strict safety procedures to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the equipment. This job requires physical stamina, as operators are often required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment, such as furnaces and crushers
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and other indicators to ensure proper operation
- Adjust controls to regulate the flow of materials through the smelting process
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and lubricating
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of production levels and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a smelting plant or similar environment
- Excellent understanding of smelting processes and equipment
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred
-Salary: $1100 per month with accommodation provided
