Data Analyst - Washington, Canada
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team in Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be proficient in data management tools and techniques. This role will involve collecting, organizing, and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that will inform business decisions. The successful candidate must have experience in data visualization and be able to effectively communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders. A strong understanding of statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL or Python is required. Salary: $1700 per month (CAD)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and clean large sets of data from various sources
- Perform statistical analysis on data sets using tools such as SQL or Python
- Identify patterns and trends within the data that can inform business decisions
- Create visually appealing dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through presentations or written reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving processes based on data insights
- Continuously monitor and analyze data quality to ensure accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis to suggest improvements for the company's data strategy
- Assist in creating and maintaining data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance
