Librarian - Part-time (Ar-Ruwais, Pakistan)


Our library is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team on a part-time basis. As our ideal candidate, you are passionate about literature and have excellent customer service skills. You will be responsible for managing the library collection, assisting patrons with finding resources, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and organizing materials
- Assist patrons with locating resources and provide guidance on research methods
- Develop and implement programs to encourage reading and promote library services to the community
- Maintain accurate records of borrowing and returns
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ensure the library is clean, organized, and welcoming for all visitors
- Stay updated on new books and resources to recommend to patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience working in a library or similar environment
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in computer systems used for cataloging and record keeping

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
