We are seeking a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Bungoma. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding customer debts and ensuring timely payment from clients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contact customers regarding overdue payments using various communication methods (phone, email, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities
- Negotiate payment plans with customers who are unable to pay in full
- Identify and resolve any issues or disputes related to outstanding payments
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve any billing issues or discrepancies
- Provide regular reports on collection activities and progress to management
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices for collections

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Prior experience in collections or related field is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult conversations with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections is a plus
