DevOps Developer


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Akron on a contract basis. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's software development and deployment infrastructure. Your main goal will be to improve the efficiency, stability, and security of our software development processes.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain our company's software development and deployment infrastructure
- Implement automation tools for testing, monitoring, and deployment processes
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth integration of code changes into the production environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software development and deployment processes
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market
- Implement security measures to protect against potential cyber threats
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps methodologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Puppet
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron (preference for Indians)

Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
