Turner for Machine Shop in Kaunas


We are seeking an experienced Turner to join our machine shop in Kaunas. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines to perform turning operations on metal workpieces
- Read blueprints and job orders to determine product specifications
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a machine shop setting
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to operate various machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise measurements
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time
- Experience with CNC programming is preferred but not required
