Our busy retail store in Bungoma is seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by accurately and efficiently handling transactions while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and can handle high-pressure situations with ease.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide exceptional customer service
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, and availability
- Ensure proper cash management procedures are followed at all times
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays as needed
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to meet sales targets and provide an exceptional shopping experience for customers

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is an asset but not required
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of local languages is an advantage)
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
