Cashier - Part Time



We are in need of a part-time Cashier to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and provide exceptional customer service
- Scan items and process payments accurately using electronic cash registers
- Calculate total payments received during shift and reconcile with total sales
- Keep checkout area clean, neat, and organized at all times
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and policies
- Follow all cash handling procedures and security standards

Requirements:
- Must be Pakistani national residing in Malindi
- Previous experience as a cashier preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Salary:
This is a part-time position paying $1300 per month. No accommodation will be provided.
