Excavator Operator



As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. You will work with a team of construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavator equipment according to safety regulations
- Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Work with ground crew to ensure proper excavation techniques are used
- Dig trenches, load/unload materials, and clear debris as needed
- Operate various attachments on the excavator, such as buckets and hydraulic hammers
- Ensure safe transportation of equipment to and from job sites

Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or excavation setting
- Valid operator's license for heavy equipment (excavator)
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with the ability to work in various weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Salary:
Starting salary of $1200/month.

Location:
Malindi, Kenya.
