Registered Dietitian in St. Petersburg, Canada
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team in St. Petersburg, Canada. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to our clients, creating personalized meal plans, and monitoring their progress towards achieving their health goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized meal plans for clients based on their specific needs and goals
- Provide nutrition education to clients on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition to ensure the highest quality of care for clients
- Maintain accurate records of client consultations and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field from an accredited university
- Registered Dietitian designation from the College of Dietitians of Canada
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Dietitian, preferably in a clinical or community setting
- Strong knowledge of nutrition principles, food science, and nutrient requirements for different populations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate clients towards making positive lifestyle changes
- Experience working with individuals with chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, or obesity is an asset
