Formworker
Location: Sheduva, Nepal
We are in need of experienced formworkers to join our team in Sheduva, Nepal. As a formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up molds or forms used to pour concrete into various structures such as walls, foundations, and columns. You will work with different materials such as wood, metal, and plastic to create the desired shape for the concrete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or construction plans to determine the specifications and dimensions of the formwork required.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications, using hand or power tools.
- Assemble wooden or metal forms for shaping concrete.
- Install reinforcing bar and mesh in forms as required.
- Pour and spread concrete into forms using hand tools or machinery.
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using trowels or screeds.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a formworker is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans.
- Knowledge of different types of materials used in formwork construction.
- Experience with using hand/power tools and measuring equipment accurately.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Biometric passport is required.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
