Foundryman Supervisor


As a Foundryman Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process of metal castings in the foundry. Your main duties will include managing a team of foundry workers, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. You will work closely with engineers and other supervisors to ensure production goals are met and processes are efficient. This position requires strong leadership skills and technical knowledge of foundry operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of foundry workers to ensure quality products are produced
- Monitor production process and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with engineers and other supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain inventory levels of necessary materials for production
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the production process

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in foundry operations, with supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Knowledge of foundry equipment, processes, and safety regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
-Some fluency in English is preferred but not required.

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at $1700 per month but is negotiable based on experience.
