Librarian - Collection Development Specialist

Our library in Moscow is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian - Collection Development Specialist to oversee our library's collection development and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of library science, information management, and experience working with diverse collections in various formats. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented and has exceptional organizational and communication skills. The candidate must have previous experience in selecting, acquiring, and managing library materials, as well as experience in budget management and vendor relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating current collections, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies for enhancing the overall quality of our collection. This position also requires the ability to collaborate with other librarians to create a well-rounded collection that meets the needs of our diverse community. Fluency in English is preferred but not required. We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month, along with accommodation and assistance with obtaining a biometric passport. Preference will be given to Indian nationals with previous work experience in a similar role.
