Database Administrator



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in Utena. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the organization's databases, ensuring that they are secure, efficient, and reliable.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity
- Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, and indexes
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient databases
- Develop data migration scripts as needed
- Ensure data security and implement access controls
- Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and trends

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery
- Familiarity with data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve database issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field is preferred

Salary:
1400$ per month

Location:
Utena, Lithuania

Nationality/Location preference:
This job is open to all nationalities who are willing to relocate to Utena. Accommodation will be provided along with a free visa and ticket.
