Welder Technician

A well-established welding company in Muscat is looking for a skilled and experienced Welder Technician to join our team. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of welding tasks including cutting, shaping, and joining metal pieces using various welding techniques. You will be working with materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel to create structures and components for our clients.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a welder
- Proficient in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience working with a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Strong attention to detail and precision in your work
- Physically fit and able to work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the appropriate welding techniques
- Set up welding equipment according to job specifications
- Use various tools such as grinders, saws, and torches to cut and shape metal pieces
- Join metal pieces using MIG, TIG or Stick welding techniques
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Perform maintenance on welding equipment as needed
- Follow all safety protocols while working with hot metals
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time
