Executive Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at our upscale fine dining restaurant in Washington. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes, as well as a strong understanding of current food trends and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design seasonal menus that showcase local and sustainable ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and develop kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage inventory and purchasing to ensure cost-effective operations
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new business strategies and marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role at a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and continuously improving dishes
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per week for this full-time position.

Our restaurant is located in Washington D.C., making it easily accessible for those living in Canada or interested in relocating.
