Head Chef (Indian Cuisine) in Las Vegas
Our upscale restaurant in Las Vegas is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our Indian menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest quality of food for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design an authentic Indian menu that reflects our restaurant's concept
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for all food items
- Ensure all food safety standards are met and maintained in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management on special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, flavors, and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead and train a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per week plus bonuses based on performance. This is a seasonal position with the potential for extension based on business needs.
