Mining Engineer


A mining company in Pula is seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mining industry and possess strong technical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting geological surveys and analyzing data to determine the potential for mineral deposits
- Designing mines and developing plans for extraction of minerals
- Overseeing the construction of mine structures and ensuring safety regulations are followed
- Managing daily operations, including monitoring production, maintaining equipment, and overseeing staff
- Implementing strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Evaluating environmental impact and implementing measures to mitigate any negative effects
- Collaborating with other engineers, geologists, and technicians on projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the mining industry
- Strong understanding of mining principles, techniques, and equipment
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in relevant software programs
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Physical stamina for working long hours in harsh conditions
