Hotel Sales Manager
A luxury hotel in Muscat is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through a variety of channels, including corporate clients, group bookings, and individual travelers. This role requires a strong understanding of the hotel industry and excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Conduct site visits and presentations for potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new business
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Manage the sales team and provide training as needed
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in hotel sales management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills
- Knowledge of market trends and competitors in the hospitality industry in Muscat
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have valid work visa for Oman
- Previous experience working with luxury hotels is preferred
Salary: 1300$ per month
