Hotel Sales Manager - Khasab, Oman
As a Hotel Sales Manager in Khasab, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy in our hotel. You will work closely with the management team to identify potential markets and develop marketing plans to attract customers. Your main goal will be to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets for the hotel
- Identify potential markets and develop strategies to attract new customers
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, operations) to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner and strive for resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in hotel sales or related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of local market trends and competitors' activities is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
