Entry-Level Librarian

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Entry-Level Librarian to join our library team in Multan. As an Entry-Level Librarian, you will be responsible for providing library services and resources to our patrons. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for books and knowledge and are looking to start their career in the field of librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing library materials
- Organize and maintain library collections, including cataloguing, shelving, and weeding
- Develop and implement engaging programs and activities for library users
- Provide information literacy instruction to library users
- Process new materials for circulation
- Assist with reference inquiries through various channels, including in-person, phone, email, and online chat
- Collaborate with other library staff to plan and execute events and initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities to expand knowledge of librarianship

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with library management systems
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and workflows

Benefits:
- Salary of 1400$ per month
- Free visa and ticket provided by the company for candidates outside of Multan
