Seasonal Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Gujrat for a seasonal position. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and delicious menus that cater to seasonal produce and local ingredients
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are met
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to continuously improve menu offerings and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu planning
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food cost control measures
- Valid work permit/visa for Gujrat
Salary:
$900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
