We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at a public library in Gujrat, India. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's resources, providing reference services to patrons, and promoting a love of reading and learning within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, classifying, and shelving books and other materials
- Help patrons locate resources and provide reference services
- Plan and implement programs and events to promote literacy and education within the community
- Stay up-to-date on new books, technology, and trends in the library field
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and initiatives for patrons
- Maintain accurate records of library usage and circulation statistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Knowledge of cataloging systems and reference tools
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- Passion for promoting literacy and education within the community
- Familiarity with digital resources such as e-books, online databases, etc.
- Fluency in English (Hindi or Gujarati is a plus)

Salary:
