We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at our boutique bakery in Gujrat, India. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts for our customers. Your role will also involve managing inventory, training and supervising other kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall quality of our pastry offerings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Pastry Chef, be passionate about creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, and have strong leadership skills. Responsibilities:

- Create and prepare various pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes or customer requests
- Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and fillings to ensure visually appealing presentations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on pastry techniques and procedures
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels
- Maintain food safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other chefs in menu planning and development
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of our pastry offerings
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new pastry techniques

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques including baking, decorating, glazing etc.
- Creativity and passion for creating delicious pastries that look as good as they taste
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or pastry-making is a plus

Salary:

We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this full-time position.
