Information Security Analyst


As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's sensitive data and information from potential cyber threats and attacks. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and a deep understanding of security protocols, procedures, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for any suspicious activity or breaches.
- Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection systems, etc.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans in case of a security breach.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to proactively address any potential risks.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that all systems and processes are in compliance with security standards.
- Investigate and respond to any security incidents or breaches in a timely manner.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, encryption methods, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Metasploit.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR or HIPAA.
- Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash).

Location: Faisalabad
Salary: $1600 per month without accommodation (negotiable based on experience)
