JAVA Developer - Contract Position in Karachi, Pakistan


We are a leading software development company in Karachi, Pakistan and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in Java programming to develop and implement complex software solutions that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with our team of developers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Strong understanding of Java programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience with popular frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
- Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Experience with database design and SQL
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications using Java technologies
- Collaborating with project managers to gather requirements and define project scope
- Participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined timelines
- Continuously learning about new technologies and incorporating them into development processes
