Position Overview:
We are in need of a professional Interpreter to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1300$. While previous experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates without experience as long as they possess strong language skills and the ability to adapt quickly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between individuals who speak different languages by interpreting conversations accurately and efficiently.
- Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation for business meetings, conferences, interviews, and other events.
- Translate written documents such as emails, reports, and contracts from one language to another.
- Ensure that the tone and context of the original message are accurately conveyed in the translated version.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while interpreting sensitive information.
- Develop a thorough understanding of technical terminology related to your field of work.
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in translations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Fluent in at least two languages including English and Urdu. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all languages you are proficient in.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to understand various accents and dialects.
- Familiarity with cultural nuances and an understanding of how context can affect interpretation.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
