Contract Fitter - Karachi, Pakistan

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Contract Fitter to join our team in Karachi on a contract basis. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components and systems according to blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping using hand tools or machinery
- Assemble mechanical components using various techniques such as welding, bolting, or soldering
- Install and align components according to specifications
- Test installed systems for functionality and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role in the mechanical or manufacturing industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment is preferred
- Good understanding of safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and report progress on projects

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The salary for this role is 1500$ per month. Candidates must have their own valid visa for employment in Pakistan.
